London trio Calva Louise launch their infectious new single I Heard A Cry.

With its riotous guitars and clamorous drums, the track is sure to get your heart pounding and your toes tapping. With a barely constrained zeal and delight, it rocks into your life unannounced, crashing in a flurry of rousing vocals and fuzzy guitars. It’s a pulsating anthem that will leave you energised, no matter how you’re feeling, and it’s two minutes of distilled youthful energy that shows where their fierce reputation within London’s punk scene has developed from. Between guitar effects and chiming vocal harmonies, vocalist Jess Allanic is able to cut through with her impassioned cries of “I heard a cry far away”.
