FEET Unveil Music Video for ‘English Weather’
Perfectly timed with the heatwave that struck London this week, FEET share aptly titled single, English Weather.
In case you weren’t missing the two days of sun that we had over London, the newest track and video from FEET will definitely have you yearning for the warmer days. With a head-bopping melody that features a strong groove throughout, hints of classic Britpop and ‘60s psychedelia can be found in both the infectious tune and the visuals. Swirling melodies, formed of reverberating guitars and rolling basses, draw you in with their psychedelic energy and it’s a completely captivating affair. The lyricism does not slack on the wittiness either, as the band joke “English weather, you better pack an umbrella”.
The video sees colourful bleeding into each other, as the band dons their signature outlandish outfits by the beach and indoors. With rainbow umbrellas and a giant parachute similar to those you would find in a games lesson at school, there’s something undeniably fun yet nostalgic about the video.
Speaking about the video, the band says:
The setting for the vid is the famed Solent Breezes of Hampshire, the band’s official Brexit hideaway of late 2018. For any further advice on how to crumble decades of well-respected inclusion into the Breezes community, speak to Oli and Harry and use the code words ‘In Rainbows Massacre’.
Be sure to catch them on one of their upcoming dates.
