SUNSLEEPER Announce Debut Album ‘You Can Miss Something & Not Want It Back’

Announcing the details for their new album, Sunsleeper have shared honest new cut No Cure to give a glimpse of what to expect.

Sunsleeper 2019Salt Lake City’s emo-rock band Sunsleeper have announced the exciting news that they will be releasing their debut album You Can Miss Something & Not Want It Back on July 12th via Rude Records. Produced and engineered by Nathan Hussey of All Get Out, it’s a work that centres around the theme of change with a twinge of nostalgia. Having released the first taste of it in the form of Soften Up earlier this year, the band has shared another track off the forthcoming album with their newest single No Cure.

A brutally honest track, it sees lead vocalist Jeffery Mudgett working through his feelings and grappling with his emotions after finding out one of his musical influences was outed for sexual misconduct. Having been left completely shaken, especially since they had influenced the ambitions for Sunsleeper, there’s an untamed emotional charge running through the track that really pierces through to the listener with its conflicted tone and anguish. With colossal chords reminiscent of the emo rock style, the hooks and lyricism will equally draw you in and envelope you in a wave of emotions in this track.
