Sussex quartet Suns Up have impeccably timed the release of their new single Do What You Feel Like with the summer slowly kicking into full swing. There’s something about the sun that makes us crave laid-back indie tunes, and the band has sated this desire with their honey-drenched latest tune. Mellifluous guitars breeze past carefree vocals in a way that almost seems serendipitous, whilst the bass casually strolls along with easy-going drums in tow.

Lyrically, Do What You Feel Like does what it says on the tin and the glowing accompaniment will certainly convince you to act as you wish with its effusing warmth. Mentioning that the track deals with ‘embracing the present’, the band further explains:

Don’t be scared to take risks and don’t be afraid to do something ‘just because it makes you feel good’. That’s essentially what keeps us going in music and we’re calling on people to do what makes them happy, and not just what pays the bills.
