The track is a first taste of their collaborative new EP, Bloodlust.
nothing, nowhere. and Travis Barker have announced a collaborative new EP, Bloodlust, which will be released on September 20th via DCD2 / Fueled By Ramen.
In his signature genre-crossing style, the new single Destruction further cements nothing, nowhere. as one of the most exciting artists on the scene. Balancing on the verge of emo-punk and pop sensibilities, with a perceptive, sharp hip-hop flow, he sets the bar higher with every song he releases. Enlisting Travis Barker for his new project, Bloodlust is sure to dominate the playlists this Autumn.
With a rich red tone to the cinematography, the visuals only add a dramatic quality to the already explosive track, building up the tension and the surge of emotion. Watch the video below.
nothing,nowhere. detailed the collaboration explaining:
Travis has been a huge influence on me my whole life. He is the reason I became interested in tattoos at a young age and was also one of the main reasons I decided to start learning how to play instruments. Working with him was some of the most fun I’ve had making music. It was just an organic process, it reminded me of hanging at a friend’s house when I was younger and just creating to create.
I love making music with Joe. He lives in a universe between genres like myself and does it so well. It’s like hanging out with an old friend that skates, listens to everything I do, and we just happen to be making music at the same time. Joe’s a triple threat, this EP showcases that.
In September nothing, nowhere. will be embarking on an extensive US tour with labelmate grandson. Before that, you can catch him at Reading and Leeds Festivals later this month.
