LA-based band Slow Hollows give us a further taste of their third album with a blissful pop delight, You Are Now On Fire.

Slow Hollows have confirmed details of their forthcoming new album, Actors, which will arrive on October 23rd.

In contrast to the brooding nature of their previous singles Come Back In and Get Along, the new single You Are Now On Fire charms with a breezy quality and euphoric beats, further showcasing the sonic exploration the band have embraced on their forthcoming new record. Dynamic drums and groovy bass lines make quite a pairing with warm, dreamy vocals, creating an irresistible pop gem your summer playlist truly deserves. With a sun-kissed melodic glow to their sound, this new offering already acts a standout single in Slow Hollows’ catalogue.

The song was a year and a half in the making, as lead singer Austin Anderson explains:

I wanted to write a pop song, but I was really scared of being judged for doing something like that. It’s one of my favorites on the record, because I was scared of it at one point, but I eventually embraced it.

Actors is set for release on October 23rd via self-run label Not Another Word, with exclusive license to AWAL.
