Nu-metal formation Issues have announced their next album Beautiful Oblivion, set to be released on October 4th through Rise Records.

After the release and positive reception of their previous single Tapping Out, Issues have unveiled another banger, Drink About It.

The band’s forthcoming new album, Beautiful Oblivion, is said to be a mixture of metallic groove, hip-hop influences, alternative echoes, and edgy pop. Drink About It possess all of these features, combined with a horror movie-esque music video. Bees, shards of glass, and darts are amongst the items used to intimidate both the artists and the viewer.

Lyrics-wise, singer Tyler Carter thinks Drink About It is a song everyone can relate to:

The song, quite frankly, is about cheater being found out by their unfortunate partner. The idea is this: ‘I think you know… you know something… how much do you know…? I’m just gonna let them sweat it out a little bit.’ But that play on words is also saying, ‘You’re all I drink about’ and at this point I wanna sweat you out of my system.

Beautiful Oblivion will be released on October 4th via Rise Records.
