Palaye Royale host a masquerade ball in their new video for Hang On To Yourself.

The Bastards era is finally here, and it’s a glorious one.

Completing a trilogy of new tracks and accompanying visuals that have heralded the transition into the next era of Palaye Royale, Hang On To Yourself offers a further glimpse into the unique world that the band have been creating since day one. With an intriguing narrative and gripping theatricals, the video adds a cinematic quality to the song, marking the next step in realizing their vision. Channelling the trio’s untamed and uncontainable energy, Hang On To Yourself makes for a thrilling slice of rock ‘n’ roll, blending electrifying riffs with catchy choruses.

With their signature enigmatic aesthetics, the three videos (including Fucking With My Head & Nervous Breakdown) contain several hidden symbols and references to the band’s previous work. The cryptic imagery is taken from a chapter of the Neoutopian Graphic Novel that drummer and artist, Emerson Barrett has written and designed along with artist XOBillie to accompany the new era.

Speaking on the dawning of the new era, the band says:

Ever since our first EP, ‘The End’s Beginning’ we have been hinting and hiding words and symbols in everything we have created. Boom Boom Room Side A and Side B was a continuation of this existential treasure hunt. Now as we enter the new era, it all begins to unfold.
