SUNS UP Share New Single ‘Grows’
Indie newcomers Suns Up expand their explosive string of singles with electrifying new cut Grows.
The Chichester quartet Suns Up have released a rousing indie gem right on time as we dust off our warmer weather clothes and curate our summer road trip playlists. Grows marks the first release from the band since last year’s EP, Come Down, and is a great addition to their array of exceptional singles.
Influenced by Phoenix and Fleetwood Mac, the melodic sonic was written in the back of a car driving from London to the Isle of Sheppey, subconsciously showcasing the track’s motto to enjoy the little things in life and take advantage of every opportunity to work on your goals.
The catchy tune, whose playful pop synths in the chorus resemble those in Midnight City by M83, is accompanied by an equally playful and energising music video that sees the bandmates performing their single in every corner of their house.
Speaking of the new track, the band says:
The song is about us being in the prime of our lives, enjoying what’s happening but deep down wanting more, questioning yourself daily but finding comfort in staying up late at night working on something you’re passionate about.
