HAPPY. Drop Raw Lyric Video for ‘Liarliar’
Liarliar is the third single taken from the band’s sophomore album, Imposter Syndrome, out next month.
If there’s one way to describe Liarliar, it’s straightforward. Raw, real and honest, the song is easily the most captivating of the three singles currently released. Whereas A Cure For Wellness and Sick Is The New Sane mostly venture in safe pop punk territory, Liarliar features multiple different sounds with a metalcore-esque chorus and a melodic verse.
With lyrics such as “When will I accept that the sickness in me is treatable? / All I gotta do is put in the work and take the pills”, the song packs a punch. Vocalist/guitarist Tate Logan describes the song as his depiction of his experience with manic depression.
We chose to express this visually by breaking the fourth wall between us and our fans. This video is a representation of a therapy session, something I was once extremely familiar with that ultimately saved my life.
Imposter Syndrome is due out on October 30th via Rude Records.
