FLAWES Share Video for New Single ‘What’s A Boy To Do’

Alt-pop trio Flawes are beginning a new era: Reverie. The EP is due for release in February of 2021, after their big plans for this year were – much like everybody else’s – hindered.

Big red buttons have ‘do not press’ signs for a reason, correct? After frontman JC brought one into the real world in the music video for their previous single, Holding Out For The Win, the red button is pressed and the impacts of childishness and curiosity are explored in the visual for their latest single What’s A Boy To Do.

The track is introduced calmly, with an acoustic guitar leading us to believe this is to be a slow single. We know Flawes, though, and at the press of a button – quite literally – noise and pure joy erupts. The energy is so optimistic and feelgood, which is exactly what the band wanted to get across with this music. Drummer Josh ‘Huss’ Hussey explains:

It’s about believing in yourself, going for a goal and knowing that even if you fail, you’re still proud of yourself for seeing it through.

Flawes are planning on achieving everything they wanted to this year, next year. Undeterred by the harsh impacts of the past 12 months, they’re still letting their personalities fly and empowering people through music, just a little behind schedule.
