Building on her already glowing reputation, Issey Cross shows us once again the punch she can provide in her latest single Boys Make Promises.

London-based Issey Cross burst onto the scene at the start of the year with her debut single, Who, and in those two minutes it was made clear that she was going to be something special in the industry. Just two months later, and we’re proved right: Cross is back with her sophomore single Boys Make Promises, and it’s a power-packed, punchy alt-pop tune.

The single shows Cross’ progression in such a short amount of time, as Boys Make Promises is composed in much more of a confident way than was presented in Who, from both the lyrics to the music video – we’re really seeing Issey Cross come out of her shell and really show the world what she’s made of.

Taken from her forthcoming debut EP, Mirrors Don’t Lie, to be released on March 25th, we’re once again left in absolute awe of Cross’ voice and the breath of fresh air she brings with her music.
