SCHOOL OF X Shares Video for ‘Feel Of It’
Filled with symbolic and metaphorical twists, Feel Of It is the latest indie anthem from School Of X.
School Of X aka Rasmus Littauer has revealed new visuals for his latest single, Feel Of It, taken from his upcoming sophomore album Dancing Through The Void, set for release on September 24th.
Thought-provoking yet upbeat, the new track tackles the overwhelming feeling of boredom and daily routines, offering an insightful glimpse into School Of X’s introspective songwriting. Buzzing with immediacy, Feel Of It is an infectious cut of indie greatness paring pop sensibilities with an alt-rock edge. Driving rhythms combine with crisp instrumentation and distinctive vocals to create a summer-worthy indie anthem. The accompanying video takes a more symbolic meaning as we watch Littauer being chased by a burning man running after him.
Speaking on the song, Littauer shares:
It’s about the desire to break out of daily routines and boredom, craving for headspace, excitement and bigger emotions. It’s a desire that seduces me and haunts me and sometimes comes with a cost. Sometimes you end up all alone because you’ve been blinded by the light.
The idea for the video was to do something really precise and conceptual with strong symbolism: the fire hunting the man. It symbolizes all these emotions and temptations that you struggle with, and how they either push you ahead or bring you down.
