Solar Power is set to arrive this August.

Lorde has announced details of her highly anticipated third studio album, Solar Power, due out August 20th. The announcement follows the release of her new single, also called Solar Power, which appropriately dropped timed to the only solar eclipse of the year.

Speaking of the album, Lorde shares:

The album is a celebration of the natural world, an attempt at immortalizing the deep, transcendent feelings I have when I’m outdoors. In times of heartache, grief, deep love, or confusion, I look to the natural world for answers. I’ve learned to breathe out, and tune in. This is what came through.

Lorde has also announced her 2022 World Tour. The 40+ show tour begins in her homeland of New Zealand in February 2022 and takes in dates in Australia and North America before arriving in the UK for six shows beginning on May 25th and culminating in two dates at the Roundhouse, London, on June 1st and 2nd; shows across Europe follow.
