Inspired by the heavenly muses in his slumber, this dynamic song was constructed from a memorable dream that Margot Polo had in the sleep before he awoke on his birthday last year.

Based in Los Angeles, Margot Polo is the solo-artist project founded by singer-songwriter and producer David Provenzano. Releasing music since 2017, Margot’s current discography boasts an abundant range of singles, as well as the fantastic five-track EP Oohyeahyeah, which he shared back in 2019.

I woke up on the morning of my birthday from a dream in which I was around a campfire with all my close friends and family – including my great-grandma, who had passed away just some years ago – and we were all singing the chorus melody of this song. Entirely from this dream, I had almost the whole song: melodies, production, arrangement, entirely laid out for me in my head. True story.

In this humorously light-hearted and relatable number, Margot Polo sings about the coexisting feelings of inevitable backache and the desire to party, which only increase as you get older.
