The band have definitely hit the nail with their newest single, Never A Low, both in terms of sonics and track title as it’ll leave you on a high.

Following the release of Everything & More and Heavenly Maybe, North London quartet Gengahr tease a further look at their anticipated third album Sanctuary with newest single Never A Low. The alt-pop outfit will not keep fans on the edge of their seats for too long though, as Sanctuary is set to be released on January 31st via Liberator Music.

Woozy and intimate, Never A Low blossoms with a sultry warmth and vocals that leave much to be desired. Hypnotic beats set a groovy backbone upon which ambient synths play upon, creating a mellifluous sound that is irresistible in its charm. Explaining more of the track, the band says:

Experimentation, collaboration and pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones is at the core of this album and in the process of making Sanctuary. Our sound and the way we work together has really evolved, and ‘Never A Low’ is the track which for us best represents the results of this change.
