The London gentlemen are back at it with their psychedelic swoon as they announce debut EP Adult Wonderland with new single Waiheke.

The sunny chords and dripping 70’s saturation is nothing new from Tempesst, but it’s still more than welcome. With swirling folk influences and soaring guitar lines, Waiheke captures a little bit out ethereal summer magic. A perfect tune when the autumn blues hit.

Speaking of the inspiration behind the track frontman, Toma Banjanin said:

My girlfriend Summer and I were travelling around New Zealand in a van last summer and ended up staying at her Auntie’s ‘Bach’ (beach cabin) in Waiheke, an island off Auckland. Summer’s Dad stayed with us too and gave me my first Tarot reading and I wrote this song about that conversation.

The song might be opening a new chapter for Tempesst, but they’ve kept their groove, and we love it.
