As its title suggests, the latest single from Cosmic Strip is heavenly, and you’ll be drawn in and left mesmerised. 

London shoegazers Cosmic Strip have unveiled their newest single Heavenly, and it is every bit as the title suggests.

Dreamy guitars are infused with a healthy dose of psychedelia, as reverb-tinged vocals gently float above and draws you in. A lingering bassline grounds the track, whilst ambient electronics soar above and bring in a slice of the summer with it. The drums bring in indie vibes, and ebb and swell as appropriate with the track, with lots of rim clicking at the beginning. The carefully constructed lyricism adds to the sunny feeling created by the track, and there’s an innate warmness to the track which will strike you.

Frontwoman Camella Agabalyan describes this as “music to watch girls by, music to move the stars”, and this song in particular is defined as “a song dedicated to the addictive feeling of your first love.” The song unquestionably captured the feeling talked about, and you’ll almost be able to relive this feeling as you listen to the lyrics and the rushes of sound.
