JIMMY EAT WORLD Announce New Album ‘Surviving’
October 18th can’t come soon enough.
Exciting news for Jimmy Eat World‘s fans as the band has announced that their tenth studio album, Surviving, will be released on October 18th.
With their signature blend of charging guitars, towering vocals, and infectious energy, lead single All The Way (Stay) is an instant Jimmy Eat World classic that is sure to sweep you off your feet in no time. Touching upon the theme of letting people discover the real you while exposing your vulnerabilities, the track acts as yet another irresistible offering in the band’s catalogue, reminding us why Jimmy Eat World are one of the best bands in the world. Simple as that.
Taking their sound to new heights, Jimmy Eat World have also released a newly recorded version of Love Never. Check out both songs below.
Speaking on the album, Jim Adkins has stated on the band’s socials:
I realize that I wouldn’t be who I am today unless everything happened exactly the way it did. I can listen back to our records and hear that maybe I was trying to tell myself some things before… but didn’t really want to let them in.
Our 1999 album was called CLARITY, but I really wasn’t on a quest for clarity when we put that out.
The crux of the decision is ‘Am I going to do something different or am I going to continue even though I hate who I am right now?’ That’s the difference between surviving and truly living. That’s the point of the songs on SURVIVING.
Surviving is set for release on October 18th via The Orchard / RCA Records.
