Raw and packed full of emotion, Sun Arcana’s new single What If You Can’t Accept Me? is catchy and expressive.

Lead singer Tom Harper-Ward’s vocals are particularly sensational and are very much at the forefront of this track. On the meaning of the single, Tom explains:

‘What If You Can’t Accept Me’ is about being in a relationship, not knowing whether you should adapt the way you are for a particular person or whether it’s best to move on. Doing all you can to impress someone but there’s only so much you can do for someone’s approval, feeling like now there’s no hope of flourishing.

The music video’s narrative continues on from the band’s last single Hard To Be Around depicting an intriguing story between a couple and the breakdown of a relationship. Commenting on the meaning behind the two videos Tom says:

So this next video is about dealing with the break up, whereas ‘Hard To Be Around’ was me thinking everything is okay. It portrays the meaning behind the song of trying to get someone’s approval but there is only so much you can do.

Both these singles have been taken off the band’s upcoming EP Just Another Dream Away out 15th November. Sun Arcana are also headlining The Grace (formerly Thousand Island) in London on 26th November.
