Bringing elements from across genres, Nick Leng’s artfully composed Music To Clean The House To is a lo-fi indie dreamscape worth escaping into.

If The Beatles had released Magical Mystery Tour in 2020, Music To Clean The House To could easily have had a spot on it. Fortunately for us, Nick Leng is creating his dreamy world in the present. His newest single masterfully mixes indie pop, atmospheric piano, layered, echoey vocals, and lo-fi beats leading to a track that is enchantingly hazy. The accompanying visual is pleasantly light and whimsical, but comes into its own once the puppet dance break is brought to life. There’s something about Leng becoming one part Napolean Dynamite, another part haunted doll that enhances the already groovy flow of Music To Clean The House To.
