SAD BOYS CLUB Share New Single ‘Know (Part II)’

Sad Boys Club mark their first 2020 attempt with a dynamic new anthem, Know (Part II).

Sad Boys Club 2020

London’s indie darlings Sad Boys Club make quite an impressive entrance into the new decade with their newest atmospheric bop Know (Part II) which makes for a startling continuation to their 2017’s single Know.

The track marks the first wave of their new material since their 2019’s highly acclaimed second EP Four Shades Of The Transitional Phase and simultaneously finds the band stepping deeper and deeper into experimenting with more anthemic sonics. Crooning about feeling ‘disassociated’ from your past self, the newest release is an upbeat electronic ballad with a dynamic chorus highly resembling Bring Me The Horizon’s single Oh No.

Speaking of Know (Part II), frontman Jacob Wheldon explains:

‘Know (Part 2)’ is a different take on the feelings of isolation and separation explored in Part 1. No, it’s not about quarantine. It was somewhat born of the versions of your self you find after a few minutes scrolling down your own social media feeds – you can feel disassociated from that person you once were but it’s in some way immortalized, that disorientation in your own journey can be a source of relief in some ways but it can also reveal some pretty horrible truths, you don’t get to control or romanticize that narrative as you might do with nostalgia, that’s a quarry i’m interested in mining at the moment, it’s all quite existential isn’t it? 2020.
