Australian metalcore legends The Amity Affliction return with two B-side tracks to compliment their latest album and we couldn’t be more thrilled.

A few months after releasing the remarkable Everyone Loves You… Once You Leave Them, The Amity Affliction are back with a couple more tracks. Coming as B-sides, these songs share from the album’s energy and spirit, however, they create their own world and story as they look into two key aspects from Joel Birch’s family life. Together with calm yet persistent drums accompanied by an orchestral arrangement, the emotional and gritty vocals of Midnight Train create a touching and anthemic song, paying tribute to his enduring relationship with his wife. Turning his gaze toward his relationship with his parents, Don’t Wade In The Water gives voice to a tumultuous and violent conflict between contradictory views on how life should be lived, however, despite all of this, a happy ending is going to be ensured by the power of love. A cathartic couple of tunes, these B-sides bravely expose two very personal and vulnerable chapters of the vocalist’s life and even though they didn’t make it on the album, they surely deserve to be heard and appreciated.
