BLACK VEIL BRIDES Return With New Single ‘Scarlet Cross’
Black Veil Brides return to the forefront of the rock scene with your new favourite song: Scarlet Cross.

Having promised an exciting concept album, Back Veil Brides finally released the first song off their upcoming masterpiece The Phantom Tomorrow in the form of an intoxicating new tune, Scarlet Cross. Questioning the fate (mode specifically the end) of mankind, the song depicts a quest for salvation and liberation, as it offers a first glimpse into the album’s antihero The Blackbird rescuing a societal outcast facing imminent danger. With unleashed guitar riffs by Jake Pitts, statement drums and Andy Biersack’s epic vocals revealing a matured voice and an improved technique, the song is beyond captivating and demands to be listened to on repeat.
BVB say in a statement:
We are incredibly excited to share not only this new song ‘Scarlet Cross,’ but also our vision for the world of ‘The Phantom Tomorrow’ and its characters. We are in the final stages of writing for this record and have begun work on our forthcoming ‘The Phantom Tomorrow’ graphic novel.
We intend to continue to share elements of the story in the coming months. [We] can’t wait for everyone to see what we have been working on!
And as Andy further revealed, an album and a novel are not the only things the band has planned for the story of The Blackbird and The Phantom Tomorrow:
There’s art, drawings, comic book designs, we wanna do a movie and all this shit, it’s a big expansive thing and we’re really excited about it.
