Mountain Bird touches upon mental health struggles in his electro-pop delight, Too Blue.

Swedish singer-songwriter and producer Mountain Bird (aka Adam Öhman) has shared the music video for Too Blue, the latest single to be taken from his forthcoming new EP Once We Were Present, set for release on April 2nd.

Tackling the feelings of depression and isolation, Mountain Bird delves into mankind’s relationship with technology in his latest track. Electronic-heavy yet subtle, Too Blue offers an uplifting sonic adventure contrasted with thought-provoking lyrics. Fluttering synths and irresistible hand claps and clicks build the foundation of the track, whilst Mountain Bird’s heartfelt vocal delivery unravels the emotional vulnerability behind the song. With an urgent and spacious sound, Too Blue is a joyous and therapeutic alt-pop cut stemming from a dark place.

‘Too Blue’ is about being vulnerable. What I noticed growing up, and growing forward from 22 to 27, is the power in people being vulnerable together. I know I can help people by talking about depression so that’s my driver in terms of doing all of this! I really love it when my music prompts my fans to open up about their problems too.
