Montreal-based indie outfit The Franklin Electric has announced new album This Time I See It, set for release on September 24th. The latest single lifted off the record is the achingly relatable Why You Gotta Be. Exploring the feeling of uncertainty and the pressure we put on ourselves to succeed in life, the track pairs folk aesthetics with indie urgency to create a touching piece of music. Emotive vocals sit on a bed of stirring instrumentals, topped with moving lyricism that offers much-needed comfort.
