FREDDIE LONG Shares Vibrant Visuals for ‘In Your Arms’

Immersed in orange and passionately singing in his authentic gravelly tone, Freddie Long truly put his heart and soul into creating these visuals.

Hailing from Sussex, England, Freddie Long is a soulful artist who possesses a distinctively raspy vocal. He also offers introspective lyrics, which often shed light on important societal issues like mental health; in fact, he previously collaborated with the charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) when he penned the song Hope, in order to promote awareness around male suicide and mental health.

Shot in Berlin, the music video for Freddie’s gorgeous single In Your Arms was created after he and his manager locked themselves away for a few days, building and painting the set.

The visuals switch between Freddie blending into the monochromatic, deep orange background, with his matching orange neck scarf, belt and socks, and him energetically performing the song in black-and-white filtered shots. His outfit was created by contemporary fashion designer Charli Cohen, whilst the rest of the video – the planning, editing and set design – was predominantly executed by Freddie.

Freddie explains:

I really wanted a simple video for this song and for the longest time I’ve had my eye on all the same coloured rooms sets. So for this, it felt right. The idea was to make multiple pieces of content and then piece them all together to end up with a music video.
