Stripping back for an emotionally raw ride, MGK adds a heart-wrenching flavour to his Bloody Valentine hit.

Bloody Valentine is the first single lifted from Machine Gun Kelly‘s forthcoming pop-punk album, Tickets To My Downfall. Produced by blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, the record is set for release later this year.

Putting an acoustic spin on the energetic pop-punk track, the new rendition of Bloody Valentine turns things upside down. Oozing with a melodic acoustic fineness, the emotion and rawness in MGK’s voice take centre stage instantly, adding a poignant and crisp texture to the track. Bathed in Cali sunset, the accompanying visuals find MGK singing his heart out in a cinematic scenery and complement the minimal arrangement of the song perfectly. Watch it below.
