SASHA Shares Ambient Single ‘Waterworks’
Blending electronic and organic soundscapes, the latest offering from Sasha is a delightful escape from reality into the world of ambient pop.

Electronic pop singer-songwriter Sasha reflects on growing up and living in London in her latest single Waterworks.
In particular, she highlights the trials and tribulations faced by a millennial twenty-something, singing about them over a bed of a tropical soundscape. Blending choppy vocal samples, electronic beats and euphoric choruses, Sasha has created a unique sound, finding her own corner in the world of ambient pop. Her delicate voice brings a lightness into the track that will undoubtedly charm you, providing a soothing voice of reason when she instructs you to “Turn off your waterworks.”
Earlier this year, Sasha altered songwriting approach with producer Scott Colcombe. Discussing the first product of these sessions, she says:
We wrote the song about getting drunk and telling your friends all your problems – something I have done on multiple occasions. We wanted the track to be a tongue-and-cheek, self-deprecating ‘pull yourself together’ moment. It made me excited to explore a new version of myself as an artist, looking at the complexity of adulthood and not taking myself or my music too seriously.
You can catch Sasha live in London later this year. She will be performing on October 9th at The Waiting Room.
