Wild Nothing has released a brand new track Shallow Water, coming from his forthcoming new album Indigo, out on August 31st. 

Following previous singles Letting Go and Partners In Motion, this third offering is just a dream in more ways than one.

Jack Tatum’s vocals are like a lullaby with sprawling guitars and swirling synths. The lyrics are charming and alluring and it’s just what you need when you have one of those days when you have lost your faith in humanity (it happens). “I’m a fool / But at least you’re foolish too / You’re my crutch / But it’s you that helps me to walk.”

Wild Nothing explains:

‘Shallow Water’ is a song for and about my wife. It can be hard to write songs about being in love that don’t come across as trite but it’s equally as hard to care about being trite when you are in love. To put it simply, it’s a song about finally arriving in the place you were meant to.

Indigo is set for release on August 31st via Captured Tracks.
