BAD NERVES Announce Self-Titled Debut Album

Mixing pop art with 90s TV production, Bad Nerves create a retro-fuelled music video for roaring new single Baby Drummer

Bad Nerves 2020

East London band Bad Nerves have announced the release of their self-titled debut album which is set for release October 23rd. The band has also shared a new video for their rock anthem, Baby Drummer, a track vocalising the desperation and need for something that’s exciting and real to happen in music again. Featuring stunning use of pink and blue pastel tones with a magazine style cut and paste layout in which viewers can see various members of the band throughout, it creates a pop art style video blended in with 90s Saturday morning TV. Think Pulp’s Common People if it was mixed with T4. The visuals do however perfectly compliment the Sex Pistols vibes with its deep bass lines and high ferocious vocals.

Speaking on the new single, Bobby Nerves shares:

‘Baby Drummer’ is about longing for something exciting to happen in music again. For a band or an artist to come along and totally change the game. For a new subculture to emerge championing guitar music again as it has in the past. This record’s been a long time coming, and it’s cool to be releasing it with like-minded people at Killing Moon!
