The London-based artist eats, sleeps, and breathes music, creating from the heart and filling her tracks with nothing but honesty – her latest single Can’t Be Friends is a perfect example of this.

We’ve all fallen for someone who’s no good for us or made stupid mistakes in the name of what we think is ‘love’ whilst we’re young – it’s human nature. That’s what Flo is narrating in Can’t Be Friends and doing so with a beat to bop your head to, and fun, honest lyrics. The confidence seen in the single puts Flo on a pedestal; it feels like she’s been doing this forever, and that’s part of the reason we love her sound so much.

This song came from another deluded boy crush and was based around the nerves of seeing someone when you know you shouldn’t and that they’re not good for you, but also knowing you really want to; attempting to make someone jealous and just generally being up to no good.
