THE LONELY TOGETHER Return With Electrifying Track ‘Dark Water’
Sonically hypnotic and lyrically disturbing, Dark Water is the fifth serving of The Lonely Together’s long-awaited debut LP, Everything Viewed Backwards Through The Rearviewmirror.

An alternative dream rock band from Scotland, The Lonely Together was founded upon lead singer Mike Baillie’s soul-baring songwriting. The band’s unique sound incorporates heartrending songwriting and equally as impactful, hard-hitting sonics.
Ominous and ambiguous, Baillie’s lyrics “don’t push me in the water was the last I heard you say” evokes questions in the listener but unapologetically refuses to answer any of them. The Lonely Together metaphorically describe bitter human betrayal as treacherous ocean depths, particularly in their lyrics “I lost you in the ocean, it breaks my heart to say” and “if only I could swim out there, so precious you to me.”
On a bed of harsh guitar riffs, Baillie hauntingly sings the lyric “dark water’s killing me” in the song’s sinister conclusion.
Dark Water will immerse you in a vortex of arresting vocals, vivid lyricism and atmospheric guitar.
