Pulsing alt-rock flows through listeners’ Bloodlines, showing what Pochenski can do.

Dan Pye, Kieran Joyce, and George Coleman are the three men that make melodies under the alias of Pochenski. With the former two names already having a musical history and working together in other bands, the creation of their sound under this separate name came easy, and they released their debut single at the back end last year. Bloodlines is the third, and latest, track in Pochenski’s repertoire.

The single is a classic alt-rock track featuring pulsing instrumentals; mind-bending guitar hooks and a rhythmic drum beat up the intensity. Pye’s vocals feature an echo that carries into the melody, this being reminiscent of music from the likes of Guns N’ Roses. Energetic and angsty, Bloodlines is definitely one to belt in a basement venue, and it holds promise for whatever Pochenski have coming next.
