WORLD’S FIRST CINEMA Share Groovy New Single ‘Supernatural’
Bringing an irresistible rhythmic hook, World’s First Cinema tap into fiery new single Supernatural.

Although the origins of World’s First Cinema only began in 2019, its members Fil Thorpe and John Sinclair have a wealth of experience and knowledge behind them which expands the group far beyond what would be expected at such an early point in their formation. Having already amassed over eight million streams and landed airplay and spots on some of the more coveted rock playlists, they’re continuing to push their boundaries and success with their infectious new single Supernatural.
Bringing a clicking groove and a brooding bass line, Supernatural will make you feel as if you’re trawling through a mysterious and dark underground as the theatre and suspense of the track settles into you. You’ll listen to the every new note with your breath hitched and an eager anticipation of what will come next, with drawling vocals teasing you along the journey. Blending elements of rock, electronic and pop, Supernatural offers a refreshed sound from the band that you won’t be able to get enough of.
Sharing more about their intentions with the single, the duo said:
‘Supernatural’ is a nod to the cinematic roots where this project first began. We feel that we’ve grown so much since we released our debut EP and we feel our music is reflecting that. Our songs will always have a cinematic element but ‘Supernatural’ really revives the overtly epic tones of our first EP. We wanted this track to be a sign to our fans to always expect those sonics from us as we explore different styles in our writing.
