Inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement, Light It Up is a refreshing take on a radio-ready hit, as it packs a punch with its poignant message of support and allyship.

Frontwoman Deena Jakoub’s distinctive vocal styling breathes an empowering life to the hard-hitting song that layers tidbits of modern rock and flourishes of EDM soundscapes with the infectious catchiness of pop.

That catchiness was not stumbled upon by luck, as the band is well-known to have a knack for writing chart toppers, making their decision to tackle such weighted subject matter impressive, as now their fanbase (and those outside of it who listen in) have a new gateway for education on the topic and ultimately the inspiration to take action.
