As a first taster of their forthcoming album Humanity, Sleep Eater grace us with Flambo – a touching story of lost love and its aftermath. While the relationship has ended, the memories still linger and become one’s most prized possessions. While the well executed guitar riffs and impactful drums reveal a classically emotional, tried-and-tested melody, what makes the song demand attention are the versatile and unique vocals, demonstrating not only an ability to transmit emotion but also that Michael Thomas Fairfield has already mastered and gained full control over his voice.
