Up-and-coming indie star Cam Blake has shared a dreamy pop tune called Conversation #3 that’s guaranteed to make you smile. 

Conversation #3 is taken from Cam Blake‘s forthcoming new album, set to be released in the autumn of this year. The new lo-fi, bedroom pop tune is as sophisticated as it is stripped back. Written about a long term friendship that the artist has now ended, the slow but upbeat melody makes the track easy listening perfect for slow mornings or relaxing evenings. With the cleaver lyricism and merging of styles, it’s just as artistic and worthy of radio play than any other song right now.

Speaking on the new single, Cam Blake explains:

‘Conversation #3’ was written about a friendship. A friendship that I’d had for most of my life, but one that became unhealthy. A few months ago I found myself needing to get out of it, which resulted in numerous draining conversations, and the song.
