From a deceitful talk show host entertaining a group of aliens to “emo kells in full effect”, the symbolism of the artist’s role in the industry as well as the current state of the world is striking.

With lyrics “The headlines say ‘The world is over’”, concert for aliens already sounds like the anthem of 2020. Proving once again that genre boundaries do not exist in his world, MGK has successfully been revitalising the classic pop-punk spirit with his latest material.
