This upcoming single is about feeling trapped in the pursuit of freedom. It is about realising that sometimes when you finally reach your goals, it can be disappointing. I wrote ‘Freedom’ before lockdown, but it seems to also capture the feeling of most of our liberties being taken away again, while we realise that nothing is for granted and nothing lasts forever.
