Partnering with Aoife from Whenyoung, Shibashi shares a highly danceable anthem for the summer with All The Lights.

Born in Brazil and currently based in Belfast, Gigi Monterro goes by the moniker Shibashi to bring his brand of highly catchy and unforgettable dance music to the world. Despite being spotlight-shy himself, his music has gained a traction that has pushed his musical name into the limelight and a quick listen to his tracks will reveal the good reasoning behind this. In his latest release, All The Lights, he teams up with Aoife from Whenyoung to deliver a glittering track that will be perfect for all of your summer needs. With a frivolous melody, buoyant vocals and an energised pace, there’s not much more one can ask for in a track to make whirl them into cloud nine. The track release is accompanied by an equally exhilarating video, which follows two teenagers along a journey through empty city streets into an underground roller skate disco, filled with people who embrace their identities and aren’t afraid to express it.

Speaking more on the track, Shibashi explains:

The song was inspired by a fleeting romance at an Ipanema beach party involving too much cachaça. It was recorded between London and Belfast. The music tries to capture sounds from the party and the place. Vocals come from the wonderful Aoife Whenyoung. The song was in demo form for so long but really came alive when Aoife sang it. Her voice tessellates with the music perfectly.
