TEN FÉ Return with New Single ‘Not Tonight’
Expansive and cinematic, Not Tonight is the soaring new single from Ten Fé.

Not Tonight is the latest single from Ten Fé, and it showcases their work in the studio as a newly created quintet.
Uplifting electronics bring in the listener, before rousing piano chords join in. A story-telling vocal line soars on top of this texture, which builds gradually as we creep forwards. There’s a perpetual motion that lies under the track, and the driving beats never falter, not even for a second. As we approach the chorus, the warm sound that arises contrast with the melancholy-tinged lyrics, as the lyrics sigh “Not tonight. All I want to say is I tried but I can’t rewind”.
Teaming up with producer Luke Smith, the collaboration is clear from the electronic flourishes and motorik groove that tell the story of a summer romance gone sour. The narrative of a suffocating relationship is knowingly told through the track’s expansive soundscape, and is enveloped in a form of dark modern Americana. A brooding tension underlines the track, courtesy of refreshing vocal harmonies and Born To Run-esque guitar lines. Leading out with a climatic final chorus, Ten Fé has yet again carved their own sonic world of warmth and drama.
