Small Words embark on a path of self-discovery in their pop-rock new single Spectrum.

Indianapolis-based four-piece Small Words have offered up their first release of 2021 with the emotionally-charged track, Spectrum. Touching upon the themes of self-acceptance and self-worth, the band masterfully crafts a poignant slice of pop-rock greatness with an indie edge. On Spectrum, intricate guitars smoothly blend with urgent drums, topped by distinctive vocals to create a palpable moment of introspection and doubt. With their new full-length currently in the works, we can’t wait to hear more from Small Words in the next few months.

Speaking on the new single, the band shares:

‘Spectrum’ is a song about desperation in accepting yourself. Understanding that you have things about yourself that you wish to improve on, or be able to accept, but not knowing where to begin, and instead drowning these thoughts in vices instead.
