JUNO nominated, Canadian indie-pop band, Valley offer alt-pop thrills with their triumphantly joyful new single, Like 1999. The song follows the band’s sucks to see you doing better EP which was released last year.

Taking the shape of a time capsule, the new track is an ode to the 1990s, shimmering with kaleidoscopic textures, sun-kissed melodies, and lush vocals that create an irresistible and dreamy sound. Like 1999 started as a TiKTok video that the band created while quarantining together for writing sessions and features the chorus of an unreleased Valley song. In only a few short days, the video had over 700,000 views and over 100,000 likes. The band then engaged the fans, announcing that they would release the song if the video hit one million views, which they achieved in hours.
