Bringing a glitzy synths sound, Take Me On Down is the danceable debut track from Alta Falls.

Brisbane-based alt-pop duo Alta Falls are here to add some dazzle into your day with their sprightly debut single, Take Me On Down. The project arose out of the lockdown of 2020, after the duo spent much of their time together and became interested in the monumental shifts being brought on in the global social landscape. As they introduce themselves to the world, it’s clear that we’re in for a fun journey; blending a variety of influences from 80s synth, to a driving indie melody, they offer a sound that is irresistibly fun while taking their lyrics to a deeper level and exploring more fundamental questions about our experiences and existence.

Speaking about the track, the duo explains:

We recorded this song in 2020 when it felt like the world was pulling in multiple directions all at once, and the divide was getting bigger, wider, and deeper. The song asks, ‘How did we all get so sure about things, and get so stuck in our own heads that we can’t even see things from someone else’s perspective? What if there was a world where people saw things from the other side?
