With a woozy, serotonin-inducing melody, Heart To Spare is the glimmering new track from Maro that will make you fall completely in love with his sound.

Lebanese artist and songwriter Maro is here with his second single of the year, in the form of hypnotising track Heart To Spare. Teaming up with producer Jared Schraff, the collaboration delivers a dreamy pay off as swooning electronics sway against dulcet vocals to create a euphoric sound that feels like floating on cloud nine. Speaking about the collaboration, Maro gushes, “Jared’s sound was exactly what I was looking for for this song and was stoked when he loved it enough to take it on.”

Despite its lovey-dovey exterior, Heart To Spare has a slightly darker lyrical undertone as it explores the vulnerability and hurt experienced after heartbreak, and the hesitancy to expose yourself to the risk of it again. Explaining his inspirations, Maro shares:

In the moment i was writing ‘Heart To Spare’, i wanted to describe the feeling of not wanting to catch feelings again with the same girl, but everytime i’m close to moving on she just hops right back into my life ‘’then you walked in to the room’’, and since i haven’t fully moved on, it’s hard to fight it so in the pre chorus i’m telling her, you left me lonely last time and broke my heart, so i don’t have another heart to spare, it’s like one of those video games where you have 3 hearts and if you end up losing them all you’ll have to restart from the beginning, and i don’t wanna get to that haha.
